Card 01 · Game Winner
Who do you think wins? Who do you want to?
In shortGame Winner is the first of Puck Party's five cards, and it's on every game. It asks two things: who you think is going to win, which is graded, and who you want to win, which never is. You can root for your club with your heart and still call the game with your head.

Your club is on the road, second night of a back-to-back, against the best team in the league. You know how this ends. You also can't pick against them. Game Winner lets you do both.
Two questions, one card
Head: who do you think is going to win? Pick a team. This is the prediction, and it's graded.
Heart: who do you want to win? Pick either team or no preference. It's yours, it's recorded, and it's never right or wrong.
If they're the same team, it's two quick taps. If they're not, the card just says it plainly: "You think Colorado. You want Dallas."
Why it's split
Pick your club every night and your record sinks. Pick against them and you feel like a traitor for being right. Splitting the card fixes that. Your record shows what you really thought. Your heart pick shows who you're pulling for. Your prediction counts toward your record, and your rooting interest is yours.
Worth knowing
Like every card, Game Winner shows one clue from recent results before you answer:
Colorado have scored more goals than Dallas over their last ten games, but have won fewer of them.
Historical results, not a forecast for tonight.
How it's graded
- The head pick settles on the final result, overtime and shootouts included.
- The heart pick never touches your Hockey IQ.
- No tie option. Hockey doesn't have ties, and neither does this card.
- A postponed game calls the card off.
