Privacy Policy
In shortThis Privacy Policy explains what information Dandy Dev, Ltd. collects through puckparty.com, including the waitlist, the contact form and site analytics, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. The Puck Party app at puckparty.app has its own privacy policy.
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Dandy Dev, Ltd., a Colorado company ("Puck Party," "we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses and shares information about you when you visit puckparty.com, join the Puck Party waitlist, or contact us through this website (together, the "Site").
The Puck Party app at puckparty.app is covered by a separate privacy policy at puckparty.app/privacy. Joining the waitlist does not create a Puck Party app account, and waitlist information is kept separately from app accounts.
By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Use.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Waitlist. Your email address. After you confirm it, you may optionally choose a favorite NHL club and tell us whether you want product updates. We record whether and when you confirmed your email address, and the date you signed up. If you took part in an earlier campaign on the Site, we may also hold the Stanley Cup pick you made then.
- Contact form. Your name, your email address, the topic you choose and your message.
- Email. Anything you send us when you write to us directly.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the Site, how far you scroll, and actions you take on the Site (for example, starting or completing the waitlist signup, choosing a favorite club, saving your product-update preference, sharing the Site, or sending the contact form and the topic you chose). It also collects device and browser information and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not send your email address, your name or your messages to Google Analytics.
- No advertising trackers. The Site does not use advertising pixels or other advertising trackers. We will update this policy before we add any.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. The Site also stores small items in your browser's local storage: while a waitlist confirmation is pending, the email address you entered and your club choice, so the page can resume where you left off; and the time you last sent the contact form, to prevent duplicate submissions. These stay on your device until they are cleared.
- Server and security information. When you use the Site, our hosting provider receives your IP address and basic request information. We use it to deliver the Site, limit repeated signup requests, filter spam and keep the Site secure.
- Fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address and basic request information to Google when it fetches them.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- run the waitlist, including sending the email that confirms your address and, later, an invitation to the Puck Party app;
- send product updates, if you asked for them;
- answer messages you send us;
- show aggregate figures on the Site, such as the number of confirmed waitlist signups;
- understand and improve the Site, including how people find it;
- protect the Site and its users, prevent spam and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use; and
- comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers. Companies that work for us under contract: our website hosting and form-processing provider, our database provider, and our email delivery provider (which sends waitlist confirmation emails and other email from us). They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Analytics and fonts. Google (Google Analytics and Google Fonts) receives the information described in "Information collected automatically." Its use of that information is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Sharing you choose. If you use a share button, the network or app you choose (for example, X) receives the link you share and whatever information that service collects when you use it.
- Legal and safety reasons. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law or legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of Puck Party, our users or others, or to investigate fraud, abuse or security problems.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or a similar transaction, or if Puck Party is transferred to another entity. Information transferred in this way remains subject to this Privacy Policy unless you are notified otherwise.
- With your consent, or at your direction.
Your choices
- Product updates. You can turn product updates on or off on the waitlist confirmation screen, or by emailing [email protected]. Every product-update email will include a link to unsubscribe. Even if you opt out, we may still send you the waitlist confirmation email and your invitation to the app.
- Leaving the waitlist. Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we will delete your waitlist entry.
- Cookies and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. Blocking cookies does not stop the Site from working.
- Browser signals. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing for those signals to turn off.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you; to give you a copy of it; to correct it; or to delete it. Some state laws, including the Colorado Privacy Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act, give residents these rights when the law applies to us. We honor these requests from anyone, whether or not such a law applies.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm that you control the email address involved before we act on a request. We will respond within 45 days, and we will not discriminate against you for making a request. If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you may reply to that email to appeal our decision.
How long we keep information
- Waitlist entries are kept until the waitlist is no longer needed or until you ask us to delete yours. An entry whose email address was never confirmed may also be deleted.
- Contact form messages and emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of our correspondence.
- Analytics data is kept by Google under its retention settings and policies.
We may keep information longer when the law requires it or when we need it to resolve disputes, prevent abuse or enforce our agreements.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections to the Site and restricted access to waitlist records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Where information is processed
Puck Party is based in the United States and the Site is intended for people in the United States. Information we collect is processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate. The Site is not directed to people in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is material, we will give additional notice, for example on the Site or by email to the waitlist. Changes take effect when posted, unless we say otherwise.
